1. Who we are
“My Foodie” is operated by My Foodie, Inc. (“us”, “we”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13+ to use the service. Some features require additional age in your jurisdiction (e.g. reservations).
3. Your content
- You retain ownership of every meal photo, review, and comment you upload.
- You grant My Foodie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, resize, transform, display, and distribute your content as needed to run the service.
- Don’t upload anything that infringes copyright, depicts minors in sensitive contexts, or violates applicable law.
4. AI identification
Our AI does its best but can mis-identify dishes. You are responsible for confirming nutritional, allergen, or dietary information before relying on it. If you have an allergy, double-check with the restaurant.
5. Reviews & community conduct
Be honest. No harassment, hate speech, illegal content, doxxing, impersonation, or commercial spam. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section.
6. Reservations
Reservations are completed at third-party providers (OpenTable, Resy, Yelp Reservations, Google). Their terms apply once you tap through to them. We are not the booking agent.
7. Verification
The gold chef-hat badge is granted automatically at 1,000 followers and 20 posts, or by an admin. We may revoke a badge for any reason without notice.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. We disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law.
10. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (which, on the free tier, is $0).
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change and material changes will be announced in-app.
